Market: Reading win
Odds: 10/11 @ Bet 365
Desperate to extend their buffer over the bottom-three, a resurging Reading will welcome Luton to the Madejski on Saturday afternoon.
Starting with the hosts, while many around the Madejski were surprised to have seen Mark Bowen take charge last month, the Royals have really started to show some improvements. Putting in another impressive display to snatch three points off of Millwall last weekend, they are currently enjoying a three-match unbeaten run, their longest run since the end of August. Also landing back-to-back victories on home soil and also snatching a 2-2 draw away at play-off outsiders QPR last month, there is no doubt that Bowen’s men should be confident of extending their recent purple patch on Saturday afternoon.
As for the visitors, despite shocking many and landing a 3-0 win at home against Bristol City last month, Luton have since come crashing back down to earth. Now holding just a two-point buffer over the drop zone, the Whites have lost their last three matches on the bounce and their issues on the road will be a growing headache for Head Coach Graeme Jones. Losing each of their previous three matches away from Kenilworth Road and conceding seven goals on that losing run, we’re backing another tough afternoon on the road for the Hatters.
